Continuing the Legacy

In 1999, the Atlas family tree had 400 members and had just established itself as an online pressence. Now, the family tree has over 2,000 members and the website has blossomed into several endeavors. This is due, in part, to the continual research and communicative efforts that are made to grow the Atlas family tree and it's resources. These efforts and resources are:
  • Receiving updates from family members via interviews, documents they provide, email, etc.
  • Internet research, such as through Ancestry.Com, FamilySearch Labs, public records, Google, etc.
  • Research trips to locations that family members have inhabited.
  • Adding new media, such as blogs, a YouTube channel and using social media such as Facebook that can be used to locate family members, keep in contact or to share information

There are a few ways that family members, and possible family members, can contribute:
  • Request a detailed family report on their specific line of the family.

If you only know a little, use the search function to the left to search for your name on the AtlasFamily.Org sites. Or, use the search/find function in Adobe Acrobat to find your name in the family trees or family rosters.

Note: You may be listed by your full name, including middle name, if known. For women: You may be listed under your maiden name.
